23 reasons to get involved in discussions about the new Aged Care Act
OPAN and COTA Australia, in partnership with 10 other older people and carer organisations, have identified 23 issues that need to be addressed in the exposure draft of the new Aged Care Act.
Our Key Issues Paper also suggests solutions older people, their families, and anyone with an interest in aged care might like to discuss during the consultation period, which runs until 16 February 2024.
The new rights-based Act, which comes into effect on 1 July 2024, will inform the future of aged care in this country. There is still time to have your say.
