Lorraine’s story: rights

Lorraine’s husband, Ron, lives with dementia. When he moved into a residential aged care home, she had doubts about the quality of care. But when she raised her concerns with the manager, they were dismissed.

Seniors Rights Service (OPAN’s NSW member) advocate Tammy Cabban helped Lorraine to understand what she could reasonably expect from the aged care provider.

After learning about her rights, Lorraine has become a powerful advocate for herself and Ron.
