Commonwealth Home Support Programme

The Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) provides basic support at home. You can generally access one or two services a week, which might include cleaning, meal preparation, transport, social support or help with dressing or showering.

The CHSP manual (below) has useful information about

  • your eligibility
  • determining what services are in scope
  • access to emergency CHSP services
  • wellness and reablement approaches in CHSP
  • provider responsibilities.
