Where to go for further help

Aged Care Specialist Officers (from My Aged Care) provide in-depth information and face-to-face support in some parts of Australia. Click here for a list of locations.

OPAN advocates, supported by Financial Advocacy Officers, can help you to understand costs, options and alternative solutions. They might also refer you to Services Australia’s free Financial Information Service (FIS), which helps you to make informed decisions about your finances.

There are further resources and tools listed below.

Financial Information Services Officers can help you to plan for your future financial needs, but they do not offer financial advice.
